Purpose: Xplora PD™ provides real-time information to the interventionalist, enabling more precise positioning and more complete deployment of coronary and peripheral stents.  It also allows high resolution mapping of the coronary arteries to accurately identify areas containing rupture-prone plaque.

Viability: Current CVD diagnostics utilize invasive catheter-based, disposable technologies.  Xplora PD replaces these with a platform that utilizes optical detection for earlier and more accurate diagnosis of a wide range of diseases.
